hey guys go check out this movie at www.endofthespear.com, they are only going to show this movie in 1200 theatres across the U.S. My wifes family is very close to the family that this movie is about, they sent my wife's parents an e-mail about the movie, and said that if enough churches in the area get support for this movie it may be shown in your area. Here is a recap of what the movie is about: In the 1950s, 5 missionaries went to the jungles of Equador to reach a tribe that had never been reached. After months of preparation, they landed their small airplane on a sandbar outside of the tribe's boundaries. They had successful contact with a woman from the trip on the first day but the next day the leaders came and speared all 5 men to death. Since then, the Saint and Elliot family have interacted with the tribe and are still helping them preserve their heritage and make money in a world trying to take advantage of them. If you visit the web site, churches can request free information (posters, screening, materials, etc.) and if enough show interest, the movie can be brought to the area. It looks like a great film and it is an awesome story of faith! Check it out!
